Beatrice and Joe’s urban wedding started off at Joe’s parents house for the getting ready photos. Upon entering their house, Joe’s parents were incredibly hospitable and made sure that Chelsea Abrams (who I was shadowing) and I were well taken care of.
We started off by photographing the groom getting ready, followed by the bride. Joe, Beatrice and their wedding party were incredibly warm and had great energy on the day. When the bride and maid of honour accidentally dropped one of Beatrice’s earrings down the floor vent, the two didn’t stop joking and laughing as they fished the earring out of the vent.
After the getting ready and first look shots were done (and Beatrice’s earring was found), we made our way to St. Rose of Lima for the wedding ceremony. We then drove to the Broadview Hotel where we took portraits of the couple and their wedding party in nearby streets and alleyways. And then the party began!
